Welcome to the Wrestelefest EU 2026
Welcome to Berlin! We are extraordinarily proud and happy to host one of the largest
queer wrestling events in the world. Wrestlefest Europe stands for diversity, respect,
and tolerance, just like our district!
We come together, learn from each other, exchange ideas, network, and meet again.
A pluralistic, diverse, and democratic society is created through exchange, respect,
and community. The connection of sports, volunteering, and queer lifestyles means a
lot to me. In sports, it shouldn't matter where you come from, how much money you
have in your wallet, or what gender you are. Your performance, your motivation, and
your ambition are what count. People of all social statuses and political opinions
meet, exchange ideas, and network. This kind of togetherness and communication
drives society forward, broadens horizons, and creates connections.
As long as social exclusion, violence, and discrimination against queer people and
their lifestyles still exist, queer spaces and people need special protection! Through
your commitment, a safe space for queer sports is created. This work is important to
create visibility, foster dialogue, and break down barriers and stigmas! I thank you for
your commitment and wish you a great festival!
I hope that Wrestlefest Europe will become a permanent part of our beautiful district!
Together, we stand for a lively, colorful, and loud neighborhood. Together, we stand
for a tolerant and inclusive Berlin! We offer everyone a place and will celebrate,
enjoy, and live it year after year.
I wish all of you a great Wrestlefest Europe 2026. Great encounters, sustainable
exchange, and that diversity enriches your everyday life. Take care of each other and
all non-participants, experience an intense festival, and enjoy Berlin and Schöneberg.
